Pre-Care Facials
Hydrate Well – Drink water in the days leading up to your facial to support your skin’s moisture barrier.
Arrive Bare-Faced – If possible, skip makeup. Arriving bare-faced will allow us more time to work on your skin.
Stop using any retinol, AHAs, BHAs, or dermatologist acne prescription 5-7 days prior to your appointment.
Use Gentle Skincare Leading Up – Stick to basics (cleanser, hydrating serum, SPF) in the 2–3 days before.
AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT
Post-Care

Keep Skin Hydrated – Use a gentle hydrating serum or moisturizer to lock in moisture and help repair the barrier.
Apply SPF Religiously – Your skin will be more sensitive to the sun, even after non-invasive facials.
Use Lukewarm Water – Keep cleansing gentle and avoid hot water for at least 24 hours.
Stick to Soothing Products – Think: aloe vera, hyaluronic acid, squalane, or ceramides.

No makeup for 24 hours – Give your pores time to breathe and reduce the risk of clogging or irritation.
Avoid active ingredients for 3–5 days – Skip retinoids, exfoliating acids, benzoyl peroxide, and strong vitamin C.
No heavy workouts or saunas – Sweating too soon can irritate freshly treated skin and cause breakouts.
Avoid touching or picking – If you had extractions, touching the skin can lead to breakouts or scarring.
Don’t exfoliate for at least 3 days – Your skin has likely already been exfoliated during the facial.
